ANC is also the only College in Sri Lanka that offers accredited American university degree completion programs in specialist career fields including Marketing, Management, International Business, Finance, Psychology, Pre-Medicine and Information Science & Technology. Degrees are awarded by Northwood University and Missouri S&T and since the programs are directly supervised by the partner universities, the degrees received are identical to the degrees completed in the US.

Students have the option of choosing a degree in Engineering, Business, IT, Arts, Bio-Medical Science or Law and can transfer to leading universities around the world.  This is generally the preferred option which the majority of ANC students have chosen to date.

ANC  also offers  University Foundation Programmes (for O/level qualified students) which are equivalent to A/level qualifications. The Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) has been specifically tailored for guaranteed entry to Monash and other leading Australian universities. The Northern Consortium of UK universities (NCUK) which includes four members of the prestigious Russell Group has an International Foundation Year (IFY) which ensures entry to its eleven partner universities and to other institutions who recognize the quality of this qualification

Students graduating from the IIT campus are high in demand within the industry as well as the Group's technological reputation and influence is believed to have a tremendous impact on the students. IIT students are spread across the world and have proven their ability to adapt to various situations and circumstances. Their success is seen in over 2500 graduates practising around the world who have steadily and surely climbed the corporate ladder. This is due to the internship period that is part of the degree offered at the IIT campus. The four year sandwich course is inclusive of a 3rd year internship programme which enables students to gain first hand professional knowledge whilst at the same time ensuring a job opportunity once they graduate – as most Companies hire them once their degree is done. IIT graduates therefore practice what they learn and are not professional misfits.

The campus itself is affiliated to the University of Westminster UK in terms of its study programme. The University is an acclaimed modern University having won the prestigious Queens award for enterprise for 2 years consecutively situated in the heart of London. It recognises IIT as its International Campus. The entire degree programme is conducted parallel to that at the UK campus and as such, students are free to transfer to the International campus at whatever time they choose to do so.  Unlike other institutions, it is not necessary to wait out a year or two years before transferring. If students wish to transfer directly, the IIT campus will then assist the student in the complete transition procedure as well.

Apart from this, being the University's international campus, IIT students have complete access to the Universities learning portals and can access their online libraries, databases. In addition, the lecturers converse with the UK university lecturers, receive feedback on their project proposals and projects themselves etc. The students are eligible for scholarships to do their masters in the UK.

Lecturers teaching at IIT are high calibre lecturers with professional backgrounds. These lecturers as well as the marketing staff, administrative functions and HR policies of the campus are reviewed and inspected by the University on a continuous basis. To ensure the steady quality of education and to make sure that it remains in line with that in the UK. Students too are interviewed and feedback received so that a well-rounded situation report can be analyzed. All these actions are for the ultimate benefit of the student.

The students have done the campus proud by winning the National Best Quality Software Award in 2009 and 2010 as well as the 3rd place award in the Motorola competition, competing with state institutions.

Apart from the study programmes, students are also given training in personal grooming. This includes table etiquette, dress sense, talking and greeting styles etc. These enable students to enter the professional field with confidence. The quality and structure of the degree is such that no additional training or courses are needed before students enter the work force.

Students enjoy a versatile environment within the campus, which is host to students from all walks of life, from all social segments. The multi cultural atmosphere lends a dynamic force to the collective environment within the campus. Students are heavily involved in all manner of cultural, religious events and other festivals organised by the student union. The stagecraft event gives way for students to showcase their talents. Students are also part of the IIT student Union and Interact clubs, which supports them in completing their CSR projects.

All these events and facilities enable the IIT students to gain a well-rounded, balanced education that is well recognised and is in demand in today's competitive market. The campus which has branches in Colombo, Kandy and Jaffna also caters to tailor made programmes for corporate and Government sector training and is centre for the Future Kidz programme.

MSc Advanced Software Engineering
The course is aimed primarily at graduates of programmes which include a significant amount of computer science and programming, but who wish to deepen their knowledge of the specific areas covered by the course before entering the software industry or progressing to further research. It is also expected to be attractive to people currently employed as software developers who wish to gain a perspective by covering material in a more theoretical way than is possible in the workplace.
The philosophy of the MSc in Advanced Software Engineering is therefore, will  provide both graduates and experienced software engineers with an opportunity to enhance and advance their knowledge in areas of current academic and industrial importance.

Eligibility
The course is open to graduates with a First or Second Class Honours degree from a recognised university or equivalent qualification, in a subject related to Computer Science or Software Engineering, joint degrees involving one of these subjects, or possibly other science or mathematically-based subjects that include a significant amount of computer science material. Basic research skills will be required for the Project as well as other taught modules. Applicants will be advised at the interview of the nature of these requirements.
